About the
Sunshine School
Sunshine
School is a Christian-based education program that is open to the
entire community since 1972. The programs are targeted to
pre-kindergarten aged children. The Sunshine School consists of
two programs for children age 3-5 years old. Our focus is to
provide a well balanced play environment with varied age
appropriate experiences focused on each child's individual social,
emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual stage of
development. The teachers provide materials and developmentally
appropriate activities in the areas of science, concepts of size,
shape, texture, weight, color, etc., dramatic play, art, music,
numerical concepts, spatial awareness, location, and other
